This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit our website or use our services. Section 7 describes the baseline practices that apply to our mobile apps; each app also has its own privacy page.

7. Tazwat Mobile Apps

Tazwat Technology publishes mobile apps on the App Store and Google Play. This section describes the baseline practices shared by all of our apps. Each app has its own privacy page, listed below, that states exactly which data that app stores on your device, which data (if any) leaves your device, and why. If an app’s page differs from this section, the app’s page applies to that app.

Our Apps

  • Tazwat Cycle (Android, iOS) — A private, offline-first period tracker. Log your period, flow, symptoms and moods, and get cycle predictions and reminders — all stored on your device.
  • In Time Prayer (Android, iOS) — Accurate Islamic prayer times with adhan alerts, a Hijri calendar, a Qibla compass, a prayer tracker, a tasbih counter, adhkar and nearby mosques. Prayer times are calculated on your device.

Baseline Practices for All Tazwat Apps

  • On-device first: Our apps keep the content you create on your device wherever possible. Health-related data you enter in a Tazwat app (such as cycle, symptom or mood logs) stays on your device and is never uploaded, unless that app’s privacy page explicitly says otherwise.
  • Limited technical data: Some apps send limited technical data to service providers, such as anonymous identifiers, usage analytics and crash reports, to operate, secure and improve the app. Each app’s page lists every such service and its purpose.
  • No sale of data: We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. Providers such as Google (Firebase) process data on our behalf as service providers.
  • Advertising: An app only shows ads or uses data for advertising if its page says so.
  • Security: Data sent from our apps to our service providers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
  • Your choices: Each app’s page explains how to delete the data stored on your device and how to request deletion of any data held off the device. You can always email us at [email protected].
  • Children: Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
